Claudio Bravo earns Barcelona three points against plucky Valencia

Claudio Bravo resisted Valencia's attacks throughout Sunday night, earning his side all three points.
Barcelona grabbed a huge three points at Valencia Sunday night as Sergio Busquets scored deep into extra time to win 1-0 in a game in which a draw would have been a fairer result.
Luis Enrique made just one change from the side that beat Sevilla 5-1 last Saturday, but it was a much commented one. The introduction of Javier Mascherano for Ivan Rakitic showed how seriously Enrique was taking the threat of a much improved Valencia side that had won all but one home game in La Liga until Sunday.
Valencia had managed three goals in each of those five wins, but when they did find their way past a solid Barca back line they came up against a very sharp Claudio Bravo.
Valencia have not beaten Barcelona at home since 2007 and will rue their missed chances, but it means the Blaugrana stay second within striking distance of Real Madrid, just two points behind their arch rivals and two in front of Altetico Madrid, after both sides from the capital won over the weekend.

Rudi Garcia's Roma keep the pressure on leaders Juventus

Roma's win was their third straight in Serie A and moved them to within three points of leaders Juventus.
ROME -- A trio of observations from Roma's 4-2 win vs. Inter Milan in Serie A.
1. Garcia brings belief to Roma
Rudi Garcia had a side capable of pushing Juventus close last season and he believes he has one which will push them even closer this time around. On the evidence of Sunday night's win over Inter, he could have a point.
Insisting his team will end their wait for the title this season was a bold move from the Frenchman, but rather than lifting a cumbersome burden onto his players' shoulders, he instead appears to have instilled in them the belief that 2015 could indeed be their year.

Jurgen Klopp not going anywhere despite Dortmund loss to Frankfurt

Jurgen Klopp and Dortmund are still searching for answers after a disappointing result vs. Eintracht Frankfurt.
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp accepted full responsibility for his team's inability to get back on track in the Bundesliga as they suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday. However, the German boss quickly added that he's not going anywhere.
Dortmund had enough chances to win the game, but were once again cursed by the bad luck which has accompanied them all season.

Malaysia's hero of the moment, Safee Sali, thanked his coach Dollah Salleh for giving him the perfect opportunity against arch-rivals Singapore to silence his critics.
The Johor Darul Takzim forward scored Malaysia's first goal in their 3-1 win over Singapore on Saturday night to send his team into the semifinals of the AFF Suzuki Cup where they will play hot favourites Vietnam over two legs on Dec. 7 and 11.
Safee was the talk of town a day before the final Group B matchup after he was caught on camera smoking with a few of his teammates outside their team hotel along Shenton Way, but Dollah backed his misfiring striker by starting him despite his alarming drop in form this season.

Ligue 1: Zlatan Ibrahimovic marks PSG return with winning goal over Nice

Zlatan Ibrahimovic marked his return with a goal.
PSG made it nine successive wins in all competitions by beating Nice 1-0 at the Parc des Princes.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's first league goal since August set the defending champions on their way, his 15th-minute penalty proving enough to see off Claude Puel's side.
